Born and raised in Maine, Greg started DJ’ing at the age of 14. As a self-taught disc jockey, Greg turned his passion for music into a lifelong dream. After graduating from the University of Maine at Farmington, Greg moved to southern Maine to focus his attention on the DJ industry. After networking with industry professionals throughout the country, Greg transitioned into the life of a full time entertainer.
In an effort to elevate the entertainment industry in Maine, DJ Greg Young joined forces with DJ Danny DeBruin to form Northeast DJs. Since forming Northeast DJs, Greg has expanded his service offerings to include event lighting, video & multimedia services and event production. Known for pushing the envelope, Greg has recently focused his attention on creating flawlessly mixed music for all aged events. This carefully crafted skill, known as beatmixing, is unique to the best disc jockey’s in the nation.
